I feel your pain. I had an apt for a short while in a very noisy situation in Manhattan. I slept to a white noise maker. It saved my sanity. You can adjust it to what ever sound appeals to u and to any volume.

My brother put egg crate foam on his door and he said it helps alot, but it’s on the outside and if yours is facing the living area you might get turned down by the parental units. Try ear plugs. That’s what i use. Or my ipod with ambient sound recordings. Nice.

earplugs maybe.lol :-p

u cud use curtains or drapes to cover the windows and doors in that room to drown out the sound. dont think it’ll bother any1.

if ur room has wooden floors u can use a rug, carpets or mats to put down on the floor so u dont hear any1 stomping :-)

if al els fails mayb u cud move2another room by sharing with sm1els or wteva u think is best coz im all out of ideas. lol

sweet dreams. :-p
