		<description>cabinets are expensive because they are so labor intensive.i remodeled my kitchen a few years ago.i couldn&#8217;t afford custom made cabinets, so I opted for Home Depot.  I bought a medium grade and have had them in for several years.  I don&#8217;t know what you call low budget, but even if you make them you can&#8217;t compete for already made unless you time  is worth less than  4 an hour.</description>

I have customers come into my kitchen showroom thinking that if they are willing to accept some &#8220;scratches&#8221;, the cabinets will be cheaper. All of these finish treatments are additional labor and thus more money. As are &#8220;painted&#8221; cabinets, (which are really not painted, but that&#8217;s another story) The best bang for your buck would be a cabinet like Omega Dynasty cabinets or Columbia cabinets.</description>
